Why this class?

Generosity is one of our Core Values at Abundant Life, and we want to help you live it out in a biblical way. The Financial Stewardship Class uses the curriculum God Owns It All by Ron Blue to help you connect faith and finances—so you can experience the abundant life Jesus promises in John 10:10.

When you learn to live generously with your finances, you can begin to live generously in every part of life.

What you’ll learn

In this 6-week course, you’ll learn to:

  • Understand God’s heart for generosity and stewardship
  • Build biblically based financial health with practical tools you can use right away
  • Develop wise habits that help you build a legacy and live with purpose
  • Grow in confidence and peace as you align your finances with God’s principles

Who it’s for

This class is for every stage of life, including:

  • High school & college students (first jobs, first budgets)
  • Young adults starting a career
  • Couples and families building a home
  • Anyone preparing for retirement
  • Those living out retirement years

 

If you’ve ever thought, “I want to handle money God’s way, but I’m not sure where to start,” this class is for you.

Objectives:

  1. Articulate a biblical theology of money and stewardship.
  2. Create and manage a working budget.
  3. Establish a practical plan for debt elimination.
  4. Set clear, faith-filled financial goals.
  5. Set up regular giving to the church and other ministries.
  6. Establish a will and trust for legacy planning.
