What Is Evangelism Training at Abundant Life?

Evangelism Training is a workshop we hold twice a year. To prepare for this workshop, participants are asked to watch a 5-part video course designed to give them an overview of the material covered in the workshop. During the Evangelism Training Workshop, participants will dive deeper into what is discussed in the videos and have breakout sessions to practice what is learned. This is to boost your courage and help you share your story and the gospel with others. 

Together, we are on a mission to see lives changed by Jesus. Evangelism Training helps us do just that!

What to Expect in Evangelism Training

The videos and workshop will…

  • Help you to see God’s mission for His church through the eyes of Jesus
  • Increase your dependence on God when sharing the gospel
  • Position yourself in humility so you can handle difficult situations when sharing your story and the gospel
  • Teach you to love like Jesus and the goodness and power of God
  • Give you tools so you feel comfortable and confident in sharing your faith. 
  • Help you share your story of life change in just a few minutes

Video 1 - Overview of How to Share the Gospel and What to Expect

Video 2 - Get Ready to Live on Mission

  • Length: 13:27 minutes
  • Memorize Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23
  • Commit to seeking the Lord in prayer and be in His Word each day.
  • Develop your H.I.T. list.
  • Take assessment 2.

Video 3 - Develop Your Personal Story

Video 4 - Clearly Communicating the Gospel

  • Length: 14:47 minutes
  • Practice the Gospel Bridge with three friends.
  • Review Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, and Ephesians 2:8-9.
  • Memorize Romans 10:9-1
  • Pray for those on your H.I.T. list.
  • Take assessment 4.

Video 5 - Get into Supernatural Conversations

Moving Forward and
Taking Action

This training is intended to be a catalyst for being a witness for Christ in all of life! It is time to move forward and take action. Find opportunities to share and practice what you’ve learned with friends.

Ask God to give you opportunities to share your story with someone.

Practice sharing the Gospel Bridge with someone.

Most importantly — Pray that God would lead you from good conversations to God conversations to Gospel conversations so that we can proclaim the hope of salvation in our families, in our church body, in our communities, and around the world.
