We also walk alongside families and caregivers by offering community, support, and respite—recognizing that everyone thrives when we support one another.

We are committed to creating welcoming environments where both children and adults with disabilities can encounter God in meaningful ways, with support and adaptations that help them flourish as full members of the body of Christ
During Sunday morning services, trained volunteers support individuals with additional needs helping them to build community, learn about Jesus, and take their Next Step.

During Fusion Student Ministry at the Lee’s Summit Campus, Friendship Club provides support to teens with additional needs through meaningful inclusion, sensory-friendly worship, adapted Bible teaching, and community.
Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Lee’s Summit Main Building

Adults with special needs from all over the KC Metro area are invited to our free social events, for fun activities, treats, and fellowship!

Connect with other families impacted by special needs in a supportive and encouraging community.
Loved ones with special needs may attend their class in the Special Needs Ministry. All other children ages 0-5th grade may attend AL Kids. Siblings 6th grade and older are welcome to attend the group alongside their parents.
This group provides community, resources, and support through fellowship, prayer requests, guest speakers, book studies, and information-based meetings.

What: Game On! a free Respite Event (video game / arcade theme)
When: Saturday, September 26, 11am – 2pm (volunteers to arrive at 10:15am)
Where: LST Main Building
Who: Families with individuals, ages 3+, with special needs and their siblings, ages 3-12 AND volunteers
Help make Respite Events and Sundays a great experience for individuals with differing abilities by serving on the Special Needs Team! Our volunteers are people who love people of all ages with disabilities and desire to see them enjoy community, learn more about Jesus, and take their next steps in serving in the body of Christ.
