God has a plan for your life, and Satan does too! Satan wants to give you death and destruction. Jesus wants to give you life and salvation. The word “abundantly” comes from the Greek “permission,” which means “exceedingly, very highly, beyond measure, more, superfluous, a quantity so great as to be considerably more than what one would expect or anticipate.” What the abundant life is NOT:
- It’s not the prosperity theology.
- It’s not easy.
- A life of eternal value.
- A life lived with supernatural power, purpose, meaning, and mission.
